31 Days of Gratitude
Join me as I celebrate all I have to be thankful for during the month of October.
Why October instead of November? One more day!
Enjoy and be blessed.
Everybody needs a day off from work now and then so when I was feeling under the weather recently, I stayed home. The problem is after over a decade in bed, the last place I want to relax is in bed.
Don’t get me wrong: I enjoy a break now and then but being holed up at home for so long it’s hard to do much anything else especially when I feel agoraphobic. I’m scared to death to leave my bedroom, much less my house. However, that doesn’t sound very thankful.
I am grateful for days when I can curl up in bed or hangout on my sofa with my two favorite four-legged buddies. My duvet, aka blanket, keeps me warm reminding me I am wrapped in God’s love for me no matter how I feel or where I am.
I’m grateful for a job from which to take a break so a duvet day is long overdue.
