The printer that still scans

I’m taking an online Dreamweaver class and had to visit my local community college to find out how to update school records. I come home to print off required documents and my “obsolete” printer craps out. I notice the problem and naturally try to fix it. No, no, I killed it. I was furious.

The printer that prints.

Mercifully, I had another printer and it works just fine. However, if I want to scan multipage documents I still can use the now dead printer. That’s right, now it’s a juggling act. I’ll be hunting for another printer on Craigslist to replace both printers.

Nevertheless, after all is said and done, I still have printing capabilities. Yippee skippy! Can I get an Amen?

What are you thankful for today?

Others blogging a 31-day series for October:

Boricua Confidential chronicles my new life as a single mom of two kids after my husband died from cancer on our son’s seventh birthday. Join me on this journey of change, revival, reformation, discovery and new direction ordered of God. Being a widow ain’t easy, that’s for sure. I refuse to rollover and die. Quite the contrary. I intend to thrive from this crazy life. You can’t keep this woman down. If I’m down, I won’t be for long.

God created me to bounce back. Watch me.

  1. I’m grateful that at minimum, I can still scan even though the print function died. Let’s just say I have 1.5 printers! :oD

  2. I am thankful for a printer too! I do miss my all-in-one printer, but hey, I have one. Lot’s to be grateful for.
